When we make a blog or site, we usually wonder, who is visiting our site? Where they are coming from? We want to know how interesting our blog is. We want to improve our blog, but how we do that? We don’t know what visitors like, so I have a suggestion to that matter. It is a site meter.

  1. First step, you must sign up first and choose Site Meter Basic Free
  2. Fill the form Your Site’s URL with your URL blog/ site
  3. Fill the form Your Site’s Name with your site’s name of course
  4. And fill codename with 5 characters minimum, this is your username
  5. Check the check box about ToS and next
  6. You must fill your e-mail address, country, and gender, others are unnecessary to fill
  7. Click next button until you get success message
  8. Your password is sent via your e-mail, if you don’t receive it, just wait several minutes
  9. Sign in, and click Manager menu, it is at the top of the page, along with statistics and logout
  10. Click HTML Code menu to get the code, I suggest you choose the code that use javascript
  11. Copy the code and paste it to your blog’s sidebar text for example
  12. Save changes your sidebar and now you can see your blog/ site has a site meter
